Zymöl delivers a right ‘Royale’ result !!

Ferrari enthusiast Ray Ferguson recently scooped an amazing hat-trick by winning three awards at the Ferrari Owners’ Club National Meet and Concours Event at Heythrop Park, including Best in Class F (328, 348 and Mondials), Best in Class AG (Area Groups of the Ferrari Owners Club) and the H R Owen Trophy for Best in Show, the first time all three awards have been won together. His secret? Preparation with Zymöl Royale and Vintage waxes together with painstaking attention to detail and loving maintenance on his 348 and 550 Maranello.

Both waxes form part of the exclusive range of Zymöl products for prestige and cherished vehicles. The unique Royale wax, which has never previously been used in the UK, is individually formulated for use on only one car. Upon placing their order, owners’ stipulate the make, model, age and colour of their vehicle to which their specific ‘prescription’ is developed with the ingredients recorded on their personal file. Whilst the price may be the most expensive on the market at just under £6000 per container, this is a one off cost which entitles the owner to refills for life. For more general use, Zymöl Vintage wax can be used on any vehicle, and contains a high percentage (61%) of the rare Brazilian No.1 White Carnauba wax and other highest quality ingredients for maximum protection on both new and classic paintwork. This again is a once only cost, and the container can then be refilled for life.

But does expensive necessarily mean excellent ? Who better to comment than an ecstatic Ray Ferguson, who is now a loyal convert to Zymöl products. As Ray explains, “Detailing for the event took four days per car, and is a process that cannot be rushed. Previously, I have used products that have mostly contained man-made materials, such as silicone. However, with the Zymöl range, as each product uses such high quantities of natural ingredients, everything is easier to apply and, more importantly, does not remove any paint on application.” He continues, “Whilst there is a definite process that must be followed with the Zymöl products, a little goes a long way and the results speak for themselves – my 348 has been raced, completed hillclimbs and taken part in track days alongside being used as an ‘everyday’ car. To be able to get the car into ‘Concours’ condition and then continually maintain it would normally be harder but using the Zymöl system, I found it simple and very enjoyable and would recommend it to anyone who is passionate about their car.”
